July 01st, 2016
Our partner and IENE General Secretary, Mr. Gus Papamichalopoulos, along with energy lawyer and senior associate of the firm Dr. Sotiris Douklias attended the conference which attracted more than 75 delegates from 20 different countries from the region and beyond. Gus, at a special session of the conference, presented the new edition of the “IENE South East Europe Energy Outlook”, and in particular the sections of the Outlook discussing the regulatory framework on electricity, renewables, and oil & gas in each country of the region. This presentation highlighted the importance of the harmonization of this regulatory framework with EU guidelines and principles, the security of supply for central Europe, and the importance of connectivity between the members of SE Europe.
