Greek Public Procurement Legal Framework Study
July 04th, 2013
In cooperation with DLA Piper, KGDI prepared a Study to the EU Commission on the Greek public procurement legal framework.
The Study provided a comprehensive description of the Greek public procurement rules, identifying their possible discrepancies with the equivalent EU public procurement rules;
pointed out the shortcomings and inefficiencies of the Greek legal framework; described the institutional structure in the area of the Greek public procurement regime; and set out how the Greek public procurement system might be improved.
KGDI presented the findings and conclusions of the Study to EU Commission officials (DG Internal Market and Services) and Greek officials (Single Public Procurement Authority, Ministry of Development, Competitiveness, Infrastructure and Transport) in December 2012.
