Energy, Utilities & Infrastructure

KG Law Firm is seeking to recruit a motivated entry level Associate Lawyer in order to join KG’s Energy, Utilities & Infrastructure practice group.

Minimum qualifications are:

  • 2-3 years at least experience being a member of a team which advised specifically clients on transactions in the energy sector (electricity, natural gas, renewables); mainly, the candidate is expected to be able to operate as a business lawyer knowledgeable, besides the business law issues, of the evolutions in the Greek and EU energy sector and the applicability of the associated regulations for the materialization of energy projects; any proven track record/skills in project finance of energy related projects will be positively evaluated;
  • A good understanding of the Greek and EU energy regulatory framework;
  • Postgraduate studies in EU Energy Law and/or international business law and
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken professional English.

HR Administrator

KG Law Firm is currently seeking to recruit an HR Administrator. Interested candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • BS in Human Resources or relevant field;
  • Proven 3 years work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role;
  • Computer literacy (HR software, MS Office & Excel applications, in particular);
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws and regulations;
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important tasks;
  • Strong oral, written and in-person communication skills;
  • Very good knowledge of English;
  • Ability to work as part of a team, to perform under pressure and have enthusiasm for challenging work.

Responsibilities:

    • Organize and maintain personnel records;
    • Assist in the recruitment process, maintain candidates database, set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence;
    • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides;
    • Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave), ensure its accuracy and compliance with legislation;
    • Draft and revise company policies;
    • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, car leasing company and ensure legal compliance;
    • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates);
    • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues;
    • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules);
    • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms;
    • Arrange participations to congresses/seminars and process expense forms, maintain annual calendar in collaboration with marketing;
